One Method. This is a super friendly and creative team. A design company that produces their own video and they do so with style. After a few shoots with them we consider them our friends.

Green Roof is DONE!

After a long autumn of disruptive renovations, the green roof project is complete. It was a success on all fronts!
We upgraded the HVAC to a state of the art system which keeps the studio at a consistent temp with full time fresh air intake, built an irrigation system for the green roof, and of course, constructed the massive garden covering 80% percent of the building’s footprint.
We are looking forward to next year to watch it grow!
One great benefit we have noticed so far is the acoustic insulation which is great for rolling sound. No more worries about that damned news helicopter, and it can be raining cats and dogs and we would never even notice!

Urban Oasis… Here we come!!!

We just got word that Toronto’s Eco-Roof Incentive Program has given us the A-OK to move ahead on the proposed Sterling Studio Green Roof!!!

If all goes well the roof will be lush with plant life by mid summer next year, and the birds will be chirping.

We just caught a glimpse of this new Koodo spot which was shot at our studio a little while back.

Congrats to Partners Film, Taxi, and our DP Jason George on a job well done!

Looking for a Documentary Filmmaker

We’re looking for a cool filmmaker to work with us on documenting this massive Green Roof project!!!

We’ve done so much research on the subject that we’re starting to think its a shame to keep it all to ourselves – not to mention, our contractor Harry is a consummate expert in the field, a Holmes-on-Homes vetran, and one of the top green roof guys in the province!
